After the big undertaking; after all the clothes are finally located; we arrive.

Thanks to our family for their support throughout this journey; it would not be possible without all your help and love.

Mothers' Shoes

This Mother's Day was so special to me. Not because I legally became a Mother only a year ago, but because this year, I truly feel like I have walked in Mothers Shoes. Becoming a Mother has so many different paths. Whatever road it took to get there; each one merges into the same. Treasure every moment; I tell myself as my oldest daughter is now 12 and my youngest is 5...as we often heard our parents say " time flies". Cherish the laughter, silliness, creative thinking, tears, hugs and kisses. I tell my daughters to hold onto their youth as we are only kids 1/3 of our entire lives then spend the rest of our lives reflecting back on the memories of our childhoods wishing we could revisit if only for a moment. Of course I try to put the brick on their heads too, but they keep growing bigger everyday. My oldest, well she is a beautiful rosebud that is blossoming at a fast rate...I hope she will continue on the path of the courageous. My youngest is full of life and loves insects, ocean life and learning. All in all the best part of Mothers Day to me were the hugs and love my girls shared with me. That through all our journeys so far, we have become family, Mother and Daughters...my dream come true.

Snow Icecream...

Growing up in the desert, we did not have snow often. It was always a treat to go to the mountains and enjoy the snow. Our Grandmother always wanted to make snow ice cream with clean snow, vanilla, sugar and milk.

We had 18 inches of snow in just a few hours and collected some fresh snow and had to try Grandma's Snow ice cream...even though it wasn't like real ice cream, it was fun making it to remember her.

I cannot express my love for this parenting paradigm. The love and understanding philosophy to parenting children with past traumas changes everything. Check it out!
